Dominic Smith is the co-founder and lead artist of Polytechnic, a Media Arts organisation -http://ptechnic.org. Smith develops and manages the lab, events, residencies and training programmes.

Smiths art practice extends to music, sound, installation and live performance, these include installation and performance works at; The ICA, London 2004; The CCA, Glasgow 2004 and the Feed Festival, Birmingham, 2004. Currently he is a PhD research associate with CRUMB, Sunderland University.
